A Cat Named Charlie

There was a cat who needed love,
The Floyds were chosen from up above.
His name was Charlie, we took him in,
He is now our friend, through thick and thin.

Jasmin shares her love with him each day,
Charlie sleeps, eats, and sometimes plays.
She can't believe that he lives with us,
He is no work, he is no fuss.

We are blessed to have Charlie living here,
He licks himself from paws to ear.
He catches mice, and is in our hearts,
He will always be loved whether we're near or apart.

Peace and Quiet,
Life is a mystery,
Always surrounding us,
Beckoning to notice,

A tribute to our parents, for years in God’s care.
You’ve traveled and journeyed through so much of life,
Counting your blessings, instead of the strife.
Forty-nine years together, united as one,
God blessed you with children, each special and fun.

Sensing His purpose, His grace and His might.
The gift of your friendship and love you have shared,
